Birthday Sourpuss
Tuesday was Joelle's birthday, which coincided with our ultimate game. So, Garrett and I made a cake and picked up a mickey of raspberry Sourpuss and headed to the field. Once there, we made her take an initial birthday shot, but after that, we randomly assigned her shots based on things she did in the game. For example, Mark felt she played great defense on one point, so we gave her a shot. Another shot was assigned when we was cutting well on the field. We also gave her a bunch at half time and made her finish it off at the end of the game. Further, if she scored a point (which she did, once - hard to score when you're drinking the whole game), she had to take a shot, but she could also assign one shot to another person (guess who got that one? me!). It was a really fun game and luckily, we were playing a fun team that had several people on it whom Garrett and I knew. After the game, we shared the cake with both teams (managed to eat it all!) and then went out to the pub for some drinks with Joelle. It was a great night with nice weather, even though we lost the game!
