Untimely shoe purchase

Last summer, I destroyed my Nike sporty sandals during our hike in Kootenay National Park. By the time we made it back to the car, they had basically torn apart and were promptly tossed in the garbage. Thus, I had no sporty sandals for the upcoming (oh so future) summer.

While at the mall last night, I spotted a sale on Merrell sandals and went to check them out. I found these little beauties:They were cheap, cute and totally comfortable. Sold! I bought them and look forward to using them for our camping/hiking/canoe trip to Utah sometime in May or June. However, it is still strongly winter here and I will have to wait...at least 2 months before I can wear them. Bummer.
