Does this seem safe to you?

At our ultimate game last night, the black thunderclouds were steadily rolling our way. Lightning was touching down at several places in the distance. We started to discuss whether we should call the game, seeing as it isn't a smart idea to be in the middle of the field during a thunderstorm, when we noticed someone in the other field FLYING A KITE.

Does that seem like a bad idea to anyone else? The lightning was coming! A little Benjamin Franklin undertaking perhaps?

We figured with a guy flying a kite 50 feet from us, we had no reason to fear the lightning ourselves and kept playing.
