Goodbye Island, for some time

On Sunday, we visited some more with Grandpa Zimm and Eileen before we headed back to Nanaimo to catch the ferry.Once back in Vancouver, Kyle drove me out to my hotel for my conference, where I checked in and dropped my stuff off in my room. We then had dinner together in the little pub in the hotel, before he headed back to his place and I headed to the conference. There was a session starting Sunday night already, so I duly went to that and started to learn some more science (and how to stay awake and look like I was paying attention!).
