Camping trip Day One

Garrett and I departed on our trip Thursday morning, after a few minor delays. After forgetting a few items that we picked up on our way out of town, we were off! By 4pm we were in Banff, where we met up with Garrett's friend Kristine (who was also on holidays). We all found a campsite near the town and set up camp before making some extremely exciting Kraft Dinner with pepperoni. Afterwards, we all soaked away in the Sulphur Mountain Hot Springs and then headed back to camp again to make a fire and some smores. The fire was not so successful because the wood was really wet, so we spent a long time starting it and putting up with excess smoke. Eventually the flames were going and we cooked up some marshmallows. Yum!
Anyways, we hit the hay and had a good sleep in preparation for our hike the next day.
